Eleni Karajohn
Eleni Karajohn was born and raised in Athens. She graduated from the French School, Lycee Leonin, and studied Economic and Regional Development at the Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences. In 2011, in parallel with her studies, she began to write for the student magazines, University Press and Chill Out. In the same year, she created her own online magazine, almurofustiki.com. In the following 5 years, it became one of the biggest media sponsors of theatrical performances and cultural events in Athens. Moreover, in collaboration with a great team of graduates from the Hellenic Cinema and Television School Stavrakos, she took 52 video interviews from actors, directors and other artists from the film and theatre industry. All of these interviews are available on her personal Youtube channel.
Also, she acted as a judge at the theatre festival “TAKE OFF YOUR MASKS” by 92Art for the best theatrical performance of newcomer actors. During the summer of 2013, as a radio producer at ClipArt Radio, she broadcasted the radio show «Out of the Blue».
Meanwhile, she was an editor at Cosmopolitan magazine Greece (2013-2014) and Eleftheri Gnomi newspaper (2014-2015), and she had her own column with cultural content on rockyourlife.gr (2011-2012) and all4fun.gr (2012-2013). In 2015, she published her first novel titled “Three cigarettes” at George’s Iatridis “25th hour” Literary Competition. She now lives and works in England.
